It's as if they’re molding this bar into a sinister funhouse where they can control people at their convenience .

They've got a history of preying on women in distress , pressuring them into alcohol-fueled stupors, with Gillian urging them to drink until the sobbing stops , and then this pair pounces on the helplessness they’ve created. It's like they're trying to create some kind of toxic cocktail that will leave everyone emotionally scarred .
